HOW TO GET HERE

FROM MELBOURNE, GEELONG, COLAC on the M1 Princes Highway
Follow signs from Melbourne to Colac on the M1 Princes Freeway, (which later becomes the A1 Princes Highway) Approximately one hour from Melbourne you will bypass Geelong City, then about 25 mins further on you will drive through the township of Winchelsea and in another 25 minutes, Colac. Continue on the A1 through Colac and approx 10kms outside the city you’ll reach an intersection with an old Blue Church on your left and a road sign C163. (From here you have 42 km to drive before you reach Bellevue.) The other signs here at this intersection say: ‘TIMBOON 54’ and ‘GREAT OCEAN ROAD 62’. All signs are at the top of a hill at a left turning lane. Turn LEFT at this old Blue Church onto the C163 to TIMBOON and drive approx 9 kms to the next large intersection (called IRREWILLIPE) with a football ground, cricket pitch, tennis courts and cream coloured hall. Turn RIGHT and continue on this road (still the C163), following the signs to TIMBOON. When you have travelled approx. 33 km from the “Blue Church” you will come to a T Intersection. Take a quick LEFT, then a quick RIGHT where there is a sign depicting C163 TIMBOON 21. There is also a large brown and white sign depicting the GOR straight ahead but you DO NOT GO STRAIGHT AHEAD. Continue on the C163 towards TIMBOON - BUT …. DO NOT GO ALL THE WAY TO TIMBOON…. Your GPS might tell you to keep going because of another Couch’s Road that is on the other side of Timboon. You have Just 10 kms to go from this intersection to our road. You will next pass road signs listing MURFITTS ROAD, SUNDAY RIDGE ROAD and then BUCKS ROAD. The next road is ours - COUCH’S ROAD - and you turn up to your left.
YOUR ACCOMMODATION
Travel up COUCH’S ROAD for less than 1km (past two houses on your right) to the sign BELLEVUE which is hanging over the entrance. There is a red mail box on your left and cattle stock yards on your right. Do not follow the road around to the left but instead drive up the hill. You can just see Bellevue Farmstay house, about 300m up in the hill on the right. Your hosts the Couch Family live in the “top house” another 300m further up the hill, so will have seen your arrival and will come down to see you after you have settled in.
