Meet the Animals

Alana

Orphaned at birth, Alan arrived at Bellevue and for the first few years didn’t really know she was a camel. She drank 10 liters of milk daily, donated by our dairy farm neighbors (!) and slept with a handful of other house dogs and cats in the front porch of Wendy and Warren’s house. Later, when she ventured into the paddocks, she buddied up with the cows and the tractor (!). Her best mate however is Warren, who she steadfastly protected when he was injured by a falling tree in a freak farming accident a few years back (ask him about it!) and was evacuated by air ambulance.
