The farm House

Our fully-self contained farmhouse comfortably houses up to 10 guests in 3 bedrooms + 2 bathrooms. Open-plan lounge, dining and living areas with wood-burning fireplace and also a robust electric heating/cooling system. Proudly solar powered, we also collect our own rainwater. Nestled on a hillside at the highest point of Scotts Creek, we are an authentic 350 acre working farm that has been in the Couch family for five generations.

 

3 bedrooms (1 queen, plus 2 rooms each with 2 x single beds)

Large lounge room (closes off to become a 4th bedroom) with two leather sofa beds and split system (heating/cooling)

Huge family room with wood-burning heater.

Fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, electric stove and oven, family-size fridge and freezer, electric and non-electric frypans, rice cooker, juicer and sandwich maker.

Quality linen and towels plus electric blankets on all beds (cozy flannelette sheets during the winter months)

Full laundry facilities including separate shower and second toilet.

Outdoor gas heater and family-size gas BBQ within a covered BBQ hut

NOTE: There is No WiFi at the Farmstay.

 

The Property

Restore? Explore? Enjoy a hands-on “life on the land” experience feeding animals, learn seasonality on a farm and join the activities. Inhale our fresh country air, relax under our tranquil night skies - there are no street lights here!

 

9.00AM-11.30AM Daily Hand-Feeding Session with our Pets and Farm Animals: dogs, camel, cows, sheep, alpacas, goats, horses and more!

Seasonal activities also include bottle-feeding lambs, hand-rearing calves, riding a tractor, feeding out hay to cows

Relax in front of the wood-burning fire with a book or board game.

Be serenaded each sunrise by magpies, rosellas, cockatoos, galahs, parrots, lorikeets, butcher birds and sometimes kookaburras.

Eat, Drink + Shop locally from our local Cafes + Gourmet Food Artisans (cheese, strawberries, ice-cream, chocolates, whiskey). Or bring home groceries from our local market to cook up some true blue Aussie tucker in the covered BBQ Hut.
